Get To Know This Museum-Worthy Artist: Flora Crockett
I still treasure my art history textbook from college. That course was pivotol to my creative and professional development. Read all about it on my "About" page. But my beloved edition of Jansen's History of Art is long out of date, even more so with the recent discovery of artist Flora Crockett.
The New York Times (no less) has heralded the discovery of Crockett's colorful and joyous abstract paintings and claims that her work should be in the collections of the Whitney and MoMa.
Anyone interested in art should learn about Flora Crockett and be familiar with her work. I dish on it all over at Cloth & Kind. Look me up.
