The Art of Antonio Mora and Elsa Mora

While researching my post on Mora clocks, I stumbled upon two very cool artists, Antonio Mora and Elsa Mora.  Both work with surreal imagery but in very different mediums.  Maybe you know them, but they were new to me, so I had to share.

Antonio Mora

Antonio Mora is a Spanish artist who fuses landscape and other images with portraiture, using digital photography.  His ethereal work speaks for itself.  Drink it in.

Elsa Mora

Elsa Mora's paper sculptures call to my mind the intricate paper botanicals created by the 72 year old Mary Delaney back in the late 1700's .

Like Delany, Elsa makes all of her paper cuts by hand.  Elsa uses an X-acto knife and cutting board. Her work also is extremely detailed and contains many references to nature.
