5 Top Trends at Spring 2014 High Point Market
1. Chinoiserie was HUGE!
2. The COLOR STORY was predominately TOMATO RED and NAVY.
Alexa Hampton combined the hues in her space at Hickory Chair.
Pantone's color of the year, radiant orchid, was not a centerpiece. One of the few places I saw it featured was at the CR Laine Showroom, where it packed a wallop due to the fantastic wallpaper by Traci Hiner.
CR Laine also featured radiant orchid in a floral vignette.
3. Brass remains BIG!
4. There was a playful use of form resulting in an Op Art effect.
5. Campaign style furniture, as I just said a few posts back, is very much in vogue.
There is more High Point coverage to come, including a new sexy chic furniture line that I just discovered and a solo exhibition for a surprising new artist.
